I am passionate about Art and Early Child Education and fostering children’s love for learning. In 2006 I attained my Computer Engineer Degree while working as an intern at a Graphic Design Studio to gain experience. I have always been interested in child psychology, so I have read (and continue to do so) and learnt from numerous classic and controversial books, blogs and articles, such as . After graduation I started my journey as an Illustrator & Graphic designer, I worked as a Graphic Designer and DTP operator, where I continued to learn about editing and document preparation for digital and offset print. In 2010 I started working as a freelancer Graphic Designer and continued to self-educate via online courses, tutorial videos and books. Several classic Psychology and Child Development books later, in 2015 my son was born. I had artistic skills and experience, interest in child psychology, however working with children was the only aspect I haven’t explored. I had worked for over 3 years with small children aged 6 months-5 years while I gained my EYFS Early Educational Diploma. During that time I had created numerous unique self-illustrated activity worksheets for the children (as well as for my son) of different ages and interests. I only then truly understood the importance of interest-based learning experience and the difference it makes for small children, in their ability to focus, engage and learn. Working with children and having my own child helped me to gain a better “practical” understanding in their development, needs and more.
Over the years I came to understand the importance of interest-based learning for small children in order to help them at the beginning of their long journey of education.
In 2020 the plan was ready. Create early educational materials such as worksheets, booklets, e-books and more. I’ve completed several online courses on story telling, writing and illustrating children’s books and I continue to do courses to keep my knowledge up-to-date in Graphic Design, illustration and child development.
In the same year I’ve decided to go through my collection of educational materials, update, categorise them and I’ve created my theme-based variations.
At the beginning of 2023 as a result of months of creating and organisation fun.art Designs was born.<br>
I hope you enjoy exploring my designs and find just what you need.<br>
Happy Learning
ILLUSTRATION
Creating hand-drawn or digital illustrations in various subjects, such as educational materials, everyday printable materials, books, advertisements, digital marketing or other forms of media. It involves drawing, sketching, and painting. My creations come to life with the help of traditional art supplies, Procreate (iPad), digital drawing tablet and of course Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign). I bring ideas, concepts, and stories to life through visual storytelling, using my artistic abilities to convey emotions, messages, or narratives.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Creating visual designs that communicate specific messages or concepts of various subjects. Using carefully selected typography, images, colours (colour psychology&harmony), and layout techniques (readability, compositionetc.) to create visually appealing designs for print or digital media and websites.
